Arriving in Croatia

From almost all major European cities there are direct flights to Zagreb from where a regular transfer to other cities is available. There are regular domestic flights to Rijeka, Osijek, Brač, Dubrovnik, Pula, Split, Zadar.

For traveling to Croatia by car you will need a green card and a valid driving license. Tolls are collected on major motorways and several bridges.

The Croatian coastal towns and cities are served by ferry and ship services. The inhabited islands are linked with the mainland (and some of them also with other islands) by ferry/ship services.

The railway network connects Croatia to the major cities in all neighboring countries: Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Check Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia.

There are bus services from all nearby European countries - Slovenia, Italy, Austria and Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland - into Croatia.
